Srinagar, July 20 (KIP)-People's Democratic Party (PDP) leader, Spokesperson Rafique Rather, has urged LG Administration to condider age relaxation for aspirants of the recently advertised posts in Police Department by JKSSRB, In view of the prolonged gap in advertisement of these posts and the prevailing unemployment crisis, Rather has also urged the authorities for reduction in application fees as well.

Rafique Rather said that many aspiring candidates, due to the prolonged delay in the advertisement of posts, have now surpassed the eligible age limit. He emphasized the need for a compassionate approach from the administration so that a large number of unemployed youths can apply for the said posts.

“The youth of Jammu and Kashmir have been facing severe unemployment issues and the candidates who have been preparing for these jobs for years now find themselves ineligible due to age restrictions and It is imperative that the JKSSRB provide age relaxation to ensure these aspirants are not unfairly excluded from the recruitment process,” Rafique Rather stated.

Furthermore, Rather called for a reduction in the application fees, due to the already financial burdens faced by many families because of the high unemployment rate. He argued that making the application process more affordable would encourage more and more candidates to apply.

Rafique Rather has urged the LG Administration, Chief Secretary and Chairman JKSSRB to take steps in the interest of the youths, ensuring a fair and equitable recruitment process that can mitigate the challenges faced by the youth of Jammu and Kashmir.
