Vijaypur continues to suffer because of unemployment, underdevelopment, and political apathy, says Manjit Singh

Vijaypur,September 13 (KIP)-Apni Party’s contesting candidate for Vijaypur assembly constituency, and Former Minister, S. Manjit Singh has received overwhelming response from all the sections of society who were not willing to support the political party that downgraded their historic state of Jammu and Kashmir.
As a part of election campaign, the Former Minister, who is contesting from Vijaypur constituency, expressed his gratitude to the people of his constituency for extending their support to him in the scheduled elections for the legislative assembly of Jammu and Kashmir.
He said that the election campaign educated him about the basic needs and demands of the people which remained unfulfilled for the last several years in Jammu and Kashmir, especially Vijaypur, Samba, Ramgarh, and all the areas of Jammu plains.
“The people of Vijaypur constituency have witnessed how they were taken back to the stone-age with the constant negligence, and deprivation of the people from the basic amenities that were their constitutional rights. The residential and business colonies are being discriminated against on the name of caste, creed and religion by the administration and they apparently act on the directions of a political party,” he said.
He said that the people have made up their minds to bring change on the ground by supporting the Apni Party, and its ideology of equitable development.
“The traditional regional and national parties have exploited the people emotionally and did nothing to fulfil their demands for decades. The unemployment has increased, development has stopped, educational system has collapsed, health sector is unable to work fully, and the terrorism is on rise in Jammu plains,” he picked holes in the failure of the Govt and the traditional parties to handle the present situation.
He said that the Apni Party has committed to bring change for the development and upliftment of the living standard of the people.
