96 cases approved under Mission Youth schemes at Poonch

Poonch, December 16 (KIP)-A meeting of District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) of Mission Youth Schemes was held today under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Vikas Kundal here in the Meeting Hall of DC Office Complex.
The meeting focussed on evaluating cases under Mission Youth Schemes, specifically Mumkin, Tejaswini, and Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative (SEI).
The Nodal Officer for Mission Youth self-employment schemes presented 130 new cases under Mumkin, 15 cases under Tejaswini and 18 cases under Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative schemes before the DLIC for approval. The Committee scrutinized all the files and interviews were conducted as per the standing norms of the Scheme.
A total of 96 cases were approved by the Committee which included 80 cases under the Mumkin scheme, 07 cases under Tejaswini scheme and 09 cases under the Spurring Entrepreneurship Initiative.
The DC Poonch emphasized the importance of timely execution, directing the Deputy Director Employment to expedite the submission of these approved cases to partner banks. This prompt action will ensure that candidates receive the necessary support and financial assistance to establish their entrepreneurial units.
The DC said that the Administration remains committed to empowering young aspirants and building a robust ecosystem of employment and entrepreneurship in the region.
Mission Youth schemes like Mumkin, Tejaswini, and SEI are instrumental in promoting self-employment among the youth in the Border District, providing them with the necessary resources and support to lead independent, sustainable livelihoods.
Among others, the Deputy Director Employment, District Social Welfare Officer, Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO), Lead Bank Manager, District Nodal officer JKEDI, and the General Manager of the District Industries Centre (DIC) participated in the meeting.
