SSP Kulgam holds Police Community Partnership Group Meeting

Srinagar, December 16 (KIP)-To foster collaboration and coordination for strong relationship with people and to listen their grievances, SSP Kulgam paid a visit to village Hallan a far-flung area of District Kulgam and held a PCPG (Police Community Partnership Group Meeting), attended by prominent persons/elderly people, youth and representatives of the Hallan and other adjacent areas.

The participants while speaking on the occasion, highly appreciated the role and efforts of police by way of conducting such public outreach programmes in remote areas for listening the issues and grievances of the general public. The participants brought to light many demands and issues of the area. A patient hearing was given to their demands by the chairing officer and were assured that their demands pertaining to other departments will be taken up with concerned for appropriate action besides issues related to Police would be resolved as early as possible.

SSP Kulgam while addressing the participants urged upon them to strengthen the hands of Police in eradicating social crimes so that peaceful/crime free atmosphere is built up. They were also informed to provide inputs/information to Police about the illegal activities if any happened for timely response and initiating preventive measures by police to avoid any major mishap. They were also urged upon to keep watch and surveillance on their children so that they may not fell prey of any bad habit which would spoil their future.

SSP Kulgam was accompanied by Addl. SP NHW Qazigund, SDPO Qazigund and SHO police station Qazigund.
