30/03/2025
Jammu, March 30 (KIP)-Pawan Sharma, Senior leader and former state secretary of BJP Jammu and Kashmir, has urged the government to ensure uninterrupted electricity supply and provide all necessary facilities to the people of Jammu and Kashmir. This is not only a matter of convenience but also a question of devotion and faith.
Sharma emphasized that during Navratri, devotees gather at temples and shrines across the region, and it is the government's responsibility to ensure that they have access to basic amenities like electricity, water, and sanitation. Any disruption in these services can cause inconvenience and distress to the devotees, which is unacceptable.
Sharma demanded that the government must take immediate action to address the issue of power cuts and ensure that the electricity supply remains uninterrupted throughout the Navratri festival. Additionally, the government should also provide necessary facilities like cleanliness, sanitation, and security at all temples and shrines.
Pawan Sharma further stated that, The Jammu and Kashmir Power Distribution Corporation Limited (JKPDCL) and the Power Development Department (PDD) should work in tandem to ensure that the electricity supply remains stable and uninterrupted. The government should also ensure that all necessary arrangements are made to prevent any power outages during the festival.
Sharma urged the government to take the necessary steps to ensure that the people of Jammu and Kashmir can celebrate Navratri with devotion and fervor, without any inconvenience or disruption.
