Akhnoor/Kathua, January16 (KIP)-Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), Jammu & Kashmir, held workshops on Viksit Bharat – Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) - VB-GRAM G in Akhnoor, Kathua, and several other districts, across Jammu & Kashmir, which were attended by senior BJP leaders, ground level party activists, and other prominent to spread the awareness on the Bill.
J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul today addressed a comprehensive workshop on VB-GRAM G (Viksit Bharat–Gram G) at Akhnoor District, emphasizing that the programme is a powerful medium to translate the vision of Viksit Bharat into reality at the grassroots level. The workshop was attended by District Akhnoor Prabhari Vinay Gupta, District President Kuldeep Raj Sharma, Seh-Prabhari Vaishno Devi, MLA Akhnoor Mohan Lal Bhagat, MLA Reasi Kuldeep Raj Dubey, and other senior leaders and party workers.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul said that VB-GRAM G is not merely an organizational activity but a mass movement aimed at ensuring last-mile delivery of welfare schemes and strengthening people’s participation in nation-building. He stated that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, development has become inclusive, transparent, and people-centric. He prompted the party cadre to actively engage with villagers, spread awareness about flagship schemes, encourage public feedback, and ensure that benefits reach every eligible household. He stressed that empowered villages are the foundation of a strong and self-reliant India.
In another event, J&K BJP General Secretary and J&K Convenor for VB-GRAM G Janajagaran Abhiyan, Baldev Singh Billawaria, who is also Incharge Parliamentary Constituency, addressed a VB-GRAM G workshop organized by BJP District Kathua at the BJP District Office, Kathua. The programme was attended by J&K BJP Vice President & District Prabhari Priya Sethi, District Seh Prabhari Sanjay Baru, Kathua District President Updesh Andotra, and other leaders.
Speaking on the occasion, Baldev Singh Billawaria said that VB-GRAM G Janajagaran Abhiyan aims to create awareness about government initiatives, promote community participation, and build trust between the administration and the public. He said that BJP workers must act as a bridge between the government and citizens, ensuring that issues at the village level are identified and resolved effectively.
Priya Sethi, in her address, said that VB-GRAM G reflects BJP’s commitment to Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas, Sabka Prayas. She urged party workers, especially women and youth, to take an active role in the campaign, highlighting that strong grassroots engagement will accelerate development and social empowerment in Jammu & Kashmir.
