Jammu, January 16 (KIP)- Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah and other Ministerds extended his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Miraj.
In a message, the Lieutenant Governor has said: “On the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Miraj, I convey my greetings and best wishes to all. May this pious occasion guide us on the path of harmony and kindness. I pray for good health, happiness and prosperity for all.”
CM Omar Abdullah extends greetings on Shab Meraj-un-Nabi (SAW)
Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today conveyed his warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Meraj-un-Nabi (PBUH), which commemorates the miraculous night journey and ascension of Prophet Muhammad (SAW).
In his felicitation message, the Chief Minister underscored the deep spiritual importance of the sacred night, noting that it reaffirms the truthfulness, greatness and unwavering devotion of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) to Almighty Allah. He described Shab-e-Meraj as a powerful reminder of the Prophet’s exemplary character, marked by honesty, integrity and spiritual eminence.
The Chief Minister offered prayers for lasting peace, prosperity and communal harmony in Jammu and Kashmir on this blessed occasion. He also called upon the people to imbibe and follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) in order to foster a society founded on compassion, tolerance and unity.
Deputy Chief Minister Extends Shab-e-Meraj Greetings
The Deputy Chief Minister, Surinder Choudhary, today extended his warm greetings to the people, especially the Muslim community, on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Meraj.
The Deputy Chief Minister said that Shab-e-Meraj holds profound religious and spiritual significance, marking the sacred night of divine blessings.
He noted that the occasion inspires faith and humility with the Almighty and uphold the values of compassion, patience and service to humanity.

Sakeena Itoo extends Meraj-ul-Alam greetings
Minister for Health and Medical Education, Social Welfare and Education, Sakeena Itoo, has extended her warm greetings to the people of Jammu and Kashmir on the auspicious occasion of Shab-e-Mehraj (Meraj-ul-Alam).
In her message, Minister Sakeena said that the night of Me’raj is a sacred occasion to seek divine blessings and forgiveness from Almighty Allah. She added that this holy night is of profound spiritual significance, symbolizing faith, devotion and boundless mercy of Almighty Allah.
The Minister said that this sacred occasion reminds humanity of the values of compassion, humility and righteousness, and encourages believers to strengthen their bond with the Almighty Allah through prayers and good deeds.
She expressed hope that this holy night of Shab-e-Mehraj will usher in renewed hope and spiritual enlightenment for all. She also prayed for peace, progress and prosperity of entire Jammu and Kashmir.
Javed Rana extends greetings on Shab-i-Meraj
Minister for Jal Shakti, Forest, Ecology & Environment and Tribal Affairs, Javed Ahmed Rana has extended his greetings to the people on the auspicious occasion of Shab-i-Meraj.
In his message, Minister Rana said Shab-i-Meraj is a profoundly sacred night symbolizing faith, devotion and spiritual elevation.
He said that this blessed occasion invites self-reflection, prayer and forgiveness, while reinforcing compassion, humility and righteousness.
“On this Holy night, I pray the Almighty bestows His mercy and blessings on all and brings peace and prosperity to every household. This pious night provides an opportunity to the people to pray and seek forgiveness & blessings from Almighty Allah,” Rana said in his message.
