DHSJ conducts comprehensive inspection of Rajiv Gandhi Hospital Gangyal

Jammu, February 19 (KIP)- Director Health Services Jammu, Dr. Abdul Hamid Zargar today visited Rajiv Gandhi Hospital Gangyal to review the overall functioning of the institution and evaluate the quality of healthcare services being delivered to the public.
During the visit, the Director took a detailed round of the OPD, IPD wards, Emergency Unit, Labour Room, Operation Theatre, Diagnostic Laboratory, Pharmacy and other critical sections of the hospital. He inspected the availability of medicines, medical equipment, sanitation facilities, power and water supply and patient record maintenance.
The Director also convened a meeting with the Medical Superintendent, doctors, paramedical staff and other officials. He reviewed staff attendance, duty rosters, referral patterns, biomedical waste management practices and implementation of various national health programmes. He emphasized maintaining discipline, punctuality, proper documentation and a patient-friendly approach in service delivery.
Dr. Zargar appreciated the dedication and efforts of the hospital staff in providing healthcare services and urged them to continue working with commitment and compassion.
The visit concluded with instructions to address identified gaps on priority to further strengthen healthcare delivery in the region.’’’
