30 Students from Ladakh Embark on Exposure Tour to Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh,

Leh, February 26 (KIP)-"Rashtriya Ekata Yatra" under the Banner of Students Experience in Regional Understanding organized by Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) in collaboration with SEIL and Vidyarthi CEVA Educational Trust was flagged off today by Hon'ble LG Ladakh Sh. Kavinder Gupta at Lokbhawan Leh.This program offers students from Ladakh a unique chance to explore diverse cultures and educational opportunities beyond their homeland.
A group of 30 students from various regions including Nubra, Kargil, Leh, Lamayuru, Shang, Nyoma, and Zanskar will travel to Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu Kashmir.
The tour aims to broaden participants' horizons by immersing them in India's rich traditions and varied educational systems. Through interactions with peers and institutions in other states, students will gain inspiration for their academic and career paths while fostering national integration, unity, and a shared sense of belonging.
The flag-off ceremony was graciously held at Lok Bhawan, Leh, by the Honourable Lieutenant Governor Shri Kavindra Gupta who inspired the young travellers with his words of encouragement. ABVP North Zone Organising Secretary Gaurav Attri was also Present on this Occasion. This Yatra started today with Flag off Ceremony and will concluded on 11th of March 2026.
These delegates will stay with more than 80 families in five different state with a theme " A home away from home " visualising the vision of Vasudeva Kutumbkam .Delegates will also interact with persons belonging from various walks of life which includes eminent personalities,prominent leaders and many more.They will also visit various institutes to broaden their intellect.This tour is inspired by the SIEL Students' Experience in Inter-State Living started in 1966 which aims to broaden participants horizon in every walk of life .
