Northern Railway adds extra 3AC Coach to Rajdhani to ease rush

Jammu, April 09 (KIP)- In view of heavy passenger rush and long waiting lists, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway has decided to attach an additional 3AC coach to Train No. 12425/12426 (Rajdhani Express) to facilitate smoother travel and improve chances of confirmed ticket availability.As per the decision, the additional coach will be attached to Train No. 12426 (Rajdhani Express) for the period from April 11 to April 24, ensuring enhanced comfort and better accommodation for passengers during the peak travel season.
Senior Divisional Commercial Manager Uchit Singhal stated that the move comes in response to the surge in passenger traffic during the summer vacation period, particularly due to increased tourist movement. He emphasized that passenger convenience remains the top priority, and such measures are being taken to meet growing demand.Passengers can check berth availability in the additional coach and make reservations through the official IRCTC website or at railway reservation counters.
