BJP Mahila Morcha holds Mega Bike Rally supporting women’s reservation in J&K

Jammu, April 12 (KIPs)-BJP Mahila Morcha, Jammu & Kashmir, organized a women-led bike rally in strong support of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam and the provision of 33% reservation for women. The rally witnessed enthusiastic participation from a large number of women riders who raised spirited slogans of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai” and “Nari Shakti Zindabad.” The rally commenced from Mubarak Mandi and culminated at Press Club, Jammu.

BJP National General Secretary and Prabhari J&K Tarun Chugh, along with J&K BJP Vice-President Priya Sethi, BJP General Secretary Sanjita Dogra, District President Jammu East Adv. Rajesh Gupta, MLA East Yudhvir Sethi, MLA Nagrota Devyani Rana, MLA Kishtwar Shagun Parihar, State Spokespersons Rajni Sethi and Purnima Sharma, BJP Mahila Morcha President Neha Mahajan, led the rally marking a strong message of women empowerment and unity.

Speaking on the occasion, Tarun Chugh said that the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam is a historic and visionary reform under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, aimed at ensuring equitable participation of women in the democratic framework of the country. He stated that this legislation is not merely about reservation but about empowering women to take leadership roles in shaping the nation’s future. He further added that the growing participation of women in such initiatives reflects a new era of confidence, awareness, and political awakening among women, especially in Jammu & Kashmir. He appreciated the efforts of BJP Mahila Morcha for organizing such a grand rally and said that women today are becoming key drivers of social and political transformation. He also emphasized that the government is committed to creating equal opportunities for women across all sectors, ensuring their active role in nation-building.

Priya Sethi termed the rally as a powerful symbol of women’s awakening and said that the Act will ensure rightful representation of women in decision-making bodies.

Sanjita Dogra expressed pride over the overwhelming participation and stated that women are now ready to lead from the front in every sphere.

On the occasion, MLA Jammu East Yudhvir Sethi, State Spokespersons Rajni Sethi, Purnima Sharma and Mahila Morcha President Neha Mahajan also spoke and shared their views.

The rally was organized under the leadership of Urvashi Gupta, General Secretary, BJP Mahila Morcha J&K, who ensured its grand success with excellent coordination and participation.
