PDF President Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen Expresses Grief Over Demise of Islamic scholar Sheikh Ghulam Hassan

Srinagar, May 16(KIP)-President People’s Democratic Front and former Cabinet Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen on Saturday expressed deep grief and sorrow over the demise of noted Islamic scholar Sheikh Ghulam Hassan Sahib, who passed away today after a prolonged illness.
In his condolence message, Yaseen offered heartfelt tributes and said, “Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un,” noting that every soul shall taste death and return to its Creator. He said the passing of Sheikh Ghulam Hassan Sahib has created a void in the religious and social fabric of society which will be difficult to fill.
He highlighted that the late scholar was widely respected for his profound knowledge of Islamic teachings, simplicity, and lifelong dedication to guiding people on the path of faith, morality, and social harmony. Throughout his life, he remained committed to educating the masses and promoting ethical values rooted in religious teachings.
Hakeem also extended condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones, praying for strength, patience, and courage during this difficult time. He prayed that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul the highest place in Jannah and showers His mercy upon him.
