Katra May 31 (KIP)- Under the leadership of NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra, the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI) organized a significant convention in Katra today to strongly protest the recurring NEET Scam and CBSE OSM Scam that have severely compromised the future of lakhs of students across the country.
Addressing the gathering, NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra said:
“The NEET Scam has once again exposed the deep rot in our education system. This year, serious irregularities including paper leaks, suspicious grace marks, and manipulated results have destroyed the dreams of millions of meritorious students aspiring to become doctors. The sanctity of one of India’s most important entrance examinations has been shattered due to complete failure of the Ministry of Education and NTA.
Similarly, the CBSE On-Screen Marking (OSM) Scam has raised serious questions on the transparency and fairness of board examinations. Students and parents have complained of arbitrary marking, technical glitches, favoritism, and inflated or deflated scores through the digital evaluation system. These scams are not mere administrative lapses but a betrayal of the trust of the youth of this nation.
Taking moral and constitutional responsibility, Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan must immediately resign. The Central Government cannot wash its hands of this grave issue. NSUI will continue to fight until a high-level judicial probe is ordered and the guilty are punished.”
On this occasion, prominent youth leader Vikram Aditya Singh formally joined the NSUI.
Expressing his views, Vikram Aditya Singh stated:
“I am grateful to NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra and the entire state leadership for welcoming me into this dynamic organization. NSUI has always been at the forefront of student issues, and I am proud to join this fight against corruption and injustice in the education system. Together, we will raise our voices for the rights of students and ensure accountability from those in power. I thank the state leadership for this opportunity and look forward to contributing meaningfully to the student movement.”
NSUI State President Ajay Lakhotra warmly welcomed all new entrants into the organization and wished them success in their future endeavors. He urged the youth to remain united in the struggle for a transparent and merit-based education system.
The convention was attended by NSUI Secretary Sheel Kumar, Rahul Sharma, Raghvendra, Abhay, Ali, and several other NSUI and Youth Congress workers.
