Vikram Randhawa listens to public grievances at BJP headquarters

Jammu, June 17 (KIP)-Senior BJP leader and MLA Bahu Constituency, Ch. Vikram Randhawa, listened to public grievances during a public outreach programme held at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
J&K BJP Swachhta Abhiyan Incharge Er. Dil Bahadur Singh Jamwal and Co-Incharge Er. T.K. Sharma coordinated the proceedings of the grievance camp.
A large number of individuals and deputations from different areas of Jammu and its adjoining localities visited the party headquarters and apprised the MLA of various civic and developmental issues affecting their respective areas.
Among the deputations, representatives of the People Welfare Committee, Gangyal, and local residents highlighted the urgent need for clearance of lanes and drains, stating that the accumulation of waste and silt was causing difficulties during the ongoing rainy season. Residents from Gangyal Garden, Marble Enclave, and Vasant Vihar demanded the construction of lanes and drains in their localities. A deputation from Auto Union Bakshi Nagar raised concerns regarding the installation of new meters in black autos and sought action against unregulated Rapido services. Residents of Rajiv Nagar, Gandhi Nagar, and Marble Enclave complained about irregular water supply. Senior citizens requested the implementation of the Central Government Health Scheme (CGHS) for retirees prior to 2019. A deputation from Gandhi Nagar highlighted the non-utilization of a borewell drilled near Vishal Mega Mart, while residents of Extension Trikuta Nagar sought the construction of a community hall near the local temple. Residents of Rajiv Nagar also raised concerns over the alleged encroachment of a nallah.
Ch. Vikram Randhawa assured the deputations that all genuine grievances would be vigorously pursued with the concerned departments and authorities for their early redressal. He said that BJP has always stood with the people and remains committed to ensuring accountable, transparent, and responsive governance. He emphasized that issues related to basic amenities such as roads, drains, water supply, sanitation, and public welfare directly affect the quality of life of citizens and, therefore, deserve immediate attention. He stated that regular public interactions provide valuable feedback from the ground and help in prioritizing developmental works according to the needs and aspirations of the people. He further assured that no genuine issue raised by the public would be ignored and that every effort would be made to secure practical and time-bound solutions.
Er. Dil Bahadur Singh Jamwal said that the BJP's grievance redressal mechanism reflects the party's commitment to public service and grassroots engagement. He stated that such public outreach programmes provide an effective bridge between the administration and the people, ensuring that local concerns reach the appropriate authorities without delay.
Er. T.K. Sharma emphasized that the party believes in constructive engagement and sustained follow-up to ensure that people's concerns are not only heard but also resolved.
