LAHD-SSRB Counselling for Provisionally Shortlisted Candidates for Various Graduation-Level

Leh, July 18 (KIP)- The Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council – Subordinate Services Recruitment Board (LAHD-SSRB) successfully conducted the counselling process for provisionally shortlisted candidates for various graduation-level posts.
The Secretary, LAHD-SSRB, and Deputy Director, District Employment and Counselling Centre, Leh, Rehmatullah Butt (JKAS), welcomed and congratulated all the provisionally shortlisted candidates. He explained the counselling procedure in detail and guided the candidates on filling out the required forms. He emphasised that candidates facing any issues or confusion should feel free to approach the officers present for assistance throughout the counselling process.
A total of 112 posts are to be filled under the recruitment process, for which 234 candidates were provisionally shortlisted and called for counselling. The counselling was conducted in a transparent, systematic, and merit-based manner to ensure a fair and smooth allocation of posts.
The counselling process was organised to obtain post and department preferences from the shortlisted candidates. During the process, all candidates were given an opportunity to choose the post for which they had been selected, strictly in order of merit. Candidates with higher merit were given priority in selecting posts, following which they were allowed to choose departments of their preference against the available vacancies.
