Police, District Administration organise mega tiranga rally in Baramulla

Srinagar, August 14 (KIP)- In a vibrant display of patriotism, national unity and public participation ahead of Independence Day 2026, Police in Baramulla, in collaboration with the District Administration Baramulla, organised a Mega Tiranga Rally across the town.
The rally commenced from Dak Bungalow, Baramulla, and culminated at Prof. Showkat Ali Stadium, Government Degree College Baramulla, witnessing enthusiastic participation from police personnel, civil administration officials, students, government employees and citizens from different sections of society.
The rally was led by the Deputy Inspector General of Police, North Kashmir Range, the Deputy Commissioner Baramulla and the Senior Superintendent of Police Baramulla, who participated alongside senior officers, police personnel and officials of the Civil Administration. Participants proudly carried the Tricolour throughout the route and raised patriotic slogans, creating an atmosphere of national pride, unity and enthusiasm.
The Mega Tiranga Rally showcased the collective spirit of the people, police and civil administration and reaffirmed their commitment to the values of freedom, unity, harmony, dignity and service to the nation. The enthusiastic participation of students and youth added vibrancy to the event and reflected a strong sense of national pride.
The rally also served as a platform to strengthen police-public engagement and community participation, encouraging citizens to celebrate Independence Day with a renewed spirit of patriotism, responsibility and harmony.
J&K Police and District Administration Baramulla reiterated their commitment to fostering a peaceful, inclusive and progressive society and appealed to citizens to participate enthusiastically in the upcoming Independence Day celebrations.
