PSA Mourns Demise of Elder Sister of Chief Patron Dr. G.N. Var
Offers Deep Condolences To Bereaved Family

Srinagar, August 22 (KIP)-The Private Schools Association (PSA) has expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of the beloved elder sister of NISA Joint Secretary and PSA Chief Patron Dr. G.N. Var Sahib, who passed away after a brief illness.
In a statement issued to the press, The Association said that her demise has caused deep sorrow across the entire private school fraternity, which stands united with Dr. G.N. Var Sahib and his family during this difficult hour. The PSA State leadership, office-bearers, district and zonal representatives and member schools conveyed their heartfelt sympathies and prayed for peace and mercy for the departed soul.
A high-level delegation of the Private Schools Association (PSA) visited the residence of Dr. G.N. Var Sahib to convey heartfelt condolences, offer prayers for the departed soul and express solidarity with him and the bereaved family during this difficult and painful time.
The delegation was led by PSA State President Bilal Ahmad Bhat and comprised a senior leadership team, including PSA Senior Vice President Manzoor Ahmad Rather, General Secretary (Org.) Mohammad Syed Wani, Treasurer and Shopian District President Hilal Ahmad Khan, Director Media & Communications and Budgam District President Dr. Owais Mattoo, Srinagar District President Aadil Habib Bhat, Anantnag District Secretary Ajaz Ahmad Wani, Srinagar District Treasurer Reyaz Mehmood Masoodi, Principal of Al-Habib Public School, Palpora, Srinagar, Lateef Ahmad Wani, Shah Gulzar and PSA PRO B.A. Shah.
The delegation was also joined by PSA Women’s Wing representatives Ms. Rifat Ara, Ms. Nahida Bilal, Ms. Tabassum Jan, Ms. Ulfat Zaman, Ms. Ruqaya and Ms. Tamana, along with several other senior school leaders, office-bearers and representatives of the Association.
Members from different walks of life, educational institutions, colleagues, friends, well-wishers and representatives of various sections of society also conveyed their heartfelt condolences to Dr. G.N. Var Sahib and his family. Many visited the residence personally to share the grief, offer prayers for the departed soul and express their solidarity with the bereaved family.
PSA State President Bilal Ahmad Bhat said that the passing away of a loved one, particularly a beloved sister, leaves an irreplaceable void in a family.
He said “The entire PSA family stands shoulder to shoulder with Dr. G.N. Var Sahib and his family in this hour of grief. The loss of an elder sister is a deeply painful and irreparable personal loss. We pray that Almighty Allah grants the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and gives Dr. Var Sahib and all members of the bereaved family the strength, courage and patience to bear this immense loss.”
PSA Senior Vice President Manzoor Ahmad Rather expressed solidarity with the bereaved family. He said “The loss of a close family member cannot be expressed in words. We are deeply saddened by the demise of Dr. G.N. Var Sahib’s beloved elder sister. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved family. May Almighty Allah bless the departed soul with eternal peace and grant the family Sabr-e-Jameel during this difficult period.”
PSA General Secretary (Org.) Mohammad Syed Wani said the loss has brought immense sorrow to the entire Association.“Dr. G.N. Var Sahib has always remained a guiding force and a source of strength for the private school fraternity. At this difficult moment, the entire PSA leadership, its district and zonal units and every member stand united with him and his family. We pray to Almighty Allah to forgive the departed soul, accept her good deeds and grant her the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdous.”
PSA Treasurer & Shopian District President Hilal Ahmad Khan conveyed his heartfelt condolences and prayed for strength for the bereaved family.“The demise of a beloved sister is an irreparable loss that leaves a deep void in the hearts of family members. We share the pain and grief of Dr. G.N. Var Sahib and his family and assure them of our sincere prayers and solidarity. May Almighty Allah illuminate her grave, grant her eternal peace and bless the family with patience and strength.”
PSA Director Media & Communications and Budgam District President Dr. Owais Mattoo said that the entire Association stands with Dr. G.N. Var Sahib and his family in this difficult time.
Dr. Mattoo said “The loss of a loved one is a very painful moment for any family. On behalf of the entire PSA, I offer my heartfelt condolences to Dr. G.N. Var Sahib and his family. May Almighty Allah grant the departed soul Jannat-ul-Firdous, forgive her shortcomings and accept her good deeds. May Allah give the family strength, patience and courage to bear this great loss.”
