Srinagar, September 13 (KIP)- Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State Spokesperson Danish Bhat, while addressing a press conference at the Party’s State Office in Srinagar along with Media Incharge Sajid Yousuf, said that the BJP is undertaking a month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan to mark 25 years of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s public service.
Danish Bhat said that under the campaign, BJP Karyakartas and members of the public will be encouraged to undertake various acts of selfless service and community welfare, as a tribute to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s 25 years of dedicated service to the nation.
He said Prime Minister Narendra Modi entered public office as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001, and subsequently assumed the office of Prime Minister in 2014. “These 25 years represent a remarkable journey of dedicated public service, during which India has witnessed significant economic growth, unprecedented development and a renewed sense of confidence on the global stage,” he said.
Bhat said that the Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan seeks to transform the celebration of 25 years of public service into a broader movement of service to society. He said BJP workers across the country will undertake programmes focused on social service, community welfare and public outreach.
He further said that the BJP will engage 25 crore students across the country through programmes carrying the message and vision of Viksit Bharat, encouraging young Indians to contribute towards building a developed and self-reliant India.
“The essence of Seva Sankalp Abhiyaan is to celebrate 25 years of public service not merely through events, but through service to society. We want every Karyakarta and citizen to contribute in whatever way they can and carry forward the spirit of Seva,” Bhat said.
