Photo Exhibition “Ladakh, Living Through the Lens” Held at Rang Thag

Leh, September 26 (KIP)- As part of The Ladakh Festival 2026, the Department of Tourism, Union Territory of Ladakh, in association with the Ministry of Tourism and Incredible India, organised a photo exhibition titled “Ladakh, Living Through the Lens” at Rang Thag today.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Smt. Tashi Dolma, JKAS, Director, Tourism & Culture, UT Ladakh, in the presence of Administrative Secretary Tourism & Culture UT Ladakh Shri Sanjit Rodrigues, (IAS) ,Shri Mohd Taqi, JKAS, Deputy Director, Tourism & Culture, UT Ladakh and others.
The photo exhibition showcased a compelling collection which comprises a visual narrative of Ladakh, highlighting its landscapes, local life, traditions and cultural heritage by Photographer Dorjey Kaya.
For over more than three decades, Dorjey Kaya has travelled across Ladakh’s rugged terrain, documenting not only its landscapes and people but also the changes that were taking place over time. The curated collection spans a significant 26-year period from 2000 to 2026, capturing the evolving character of Ladakh and the delicate balance between its timeless heritage and modern transition.
The exhibition provided residents, tourists and cultural enthusiasts an opportunity to experience and appreciate the diverse beauty, traditions and way of life of Ladakh through photography.
