CGPWA’s Swachhta Abhiyan at Barnai School

Jammu, October 11 (KIP)-Continuing with their Swachhta Abhiyan, enthusiastic members of the Central Govt Pensioners’ Welfare Association, Jammu (CGPWA) today took the cleaning work at Govt Middle School Barnai. The team was led by passionate activist Seva Dass Digra, retired Director GSI and a Life Member of the CGPWA.
The CGPWA, Jammu has taken up this campaign under the Government of India’s Special Campaign for the Disposal of Pending Matters (SCDPM 6.0). This cleanliness of public places is a part of this Abhiyaan.
The Department of Pension and Pensioners Welfare of Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions has involved Central Govt Pensioners Associations in the campaign launched all over country till 31st October.
With the support of the Head Master of the School Kuldeep Singh, the CGPWA team cleaned-up two of the unattended spots under this campaign.
Those who contributed shramdan at Barnai School included Dr. S. C. Uppal, Mohan Lal Hans, Ashok Sharma Vishisht, M. P. Sharma, Isher Das, Mohinder Kumar and Gopal Krishan.
The School Head Master expressed gratitude to Seva Dass and the CGPWA for their meaningful initiative which sends a message to the students.
So far, the CGPWA has taken up Swachhta drive at BALGRAN and Bahu Plaza.
